Support Services

Student Support Services at GWC

It is important that you are aware of all of the services we have to offer you.  These services are provided to GWC students to help you succeed. I will be covering each of the services in future blog posts so check back often.

Counseling Services
GWC counselors help you devise a Student Educational Plan (SEP). When you meet with your counselor you will identify your educational goals and map out a course schedule. It is important to do this during your first semester – the sooner you have a plan the faster you will reach your goal.

If you are unsure of your goal, the Career Center offers workshops and seminars to help you decide. The average student changes their major three (3) times which cost more money and more time!

If you are looking for information about universities, majors, or career options visit the Transfer Center.

Student Health Services
The mandatory Health fee that you pay when you register allows you to take advantage of many free and low cost services provided at our health center.
